Continuing the legacy was Jaypee Bela Cement Plant (JBCP) in 1996 with an initial capacity of 1.9 million tonnes.

In 1980, JAPL set up Hotel Siddharth and Hotel Vasant Continental in New Delhi, landmarks in their respective areas.
